Thank you for this post. I would love to figure out how to intervene in spanking situations when I witness them -- some way that would add to the peace and not create additional conflict. I was hit as a child, and I loathe confrontation, and I still feel fearful of the perpetrator when I see a child being hit by an adult. I would like to become more fearless for the sake of the children.
